Hi! I'm a statistics undergraduate at the University of Lagos and a data professional in Lagos, Nigeria. The short version of what I do: I analyse things, then I build them.

Most of my work starts as a Lagos-sized problem. So far I've built a skill-verification engine for Nigeria's 41 million informal workers (Recivo, 2nd of 1,600+ teams at GTCO Squad 3.0); designed and shipped a verified student-housing marketplace solo, end-to-end (Setld); and built an AI symptom checker with a doctor-review workflow (Soma). When I'm not building, I'm investigating: in-depth analyses on the reality of real estate in Lagos, whether headline sentiment moves engagement, and what predicts learner outcomes at ALX Nigeria.

This summer I'm joining GTCO Squad's data team, the same team whose hackathon Recivo placed 2nd in.

Outside of building, I facilitated the data science track at CJID's AI Campus Network at UNILAG, and I now serve on the training & competitions core team at GDGoC UNILAG. I also co-founded a 50+ member data science study group and spoke to 200+ high-school students at YIBA TechUp.

Non-work-wise, I shoot photos and video, sketch, and read widely enough to maintain a respectable bank of not-yet-useful knowledge.

I facilitated the data science track at CJID's AI Campus Network at UNILAG (Jul–Dec 2025), taking a cohort of undergraduates from ideation to working projects in foundational data science and Python. I now serve on the training & competitions core team at GDGoC UNILAG (Jan 2026–present), where I design curricula and coordinate hackathons.

Along the way I co-founded a 50+ member Data Science study group and spoke to 200+ high-school students at YIBA TechUp about building with purpose.

The Early Years the long version, if you're curious

I started early, mostly by accident of stubbornness. At 15 I was a software engineering intern at Microsoft ADC - one of 20 high-school students selected from 5,000+ nationwide - where I led a 10-person team to build an Arduino/C++ smart-waste prototype, shipped in agile sprints. We went on to win 2nd at the Microsoft ADC Hackathon. That set the pattern.

University came with its own fuel: I'm a FATE Foundation Scholar (selected from 2,000+ applicants), a 234 Project Grace Scholar, and an Afara Initiative Bridge Fellow. Alongside UNILAG I completed a Diploma in Data Science at AltSchool Africa - First Class. Before all of this sounds too tidy: most of it was figured out in public, one shipped thing at a time.
